      MARRIAGE:

~We have photograph of marriage ban of Jan and Katerina in Czech Archives; email from David Vanicek to Gary Petranek, July 31, 2008.

From a family member: "The Petraneks and Slabys weren't living in Baierverk for so much time together. Vaclav and Marie Slaby came to Baiervek in 1880 with daughter, Barbora who got married in 1882 and moved to Stary Kolin and Vaclav was there already retired after a life spent on working on the railway. Also there was living Josef and Anna Slaby from 1870, Josef was Maria Slaba-Petranek's cousin, son of his aunt Katerina Slaby. But they were for a long time going to one church because Baiervek and Pecky was under the same parish-Velim."
